Default Turf 252 question

Why do the stock back wheels on a Turf 252 have a different offset than the front?

I'm not sure, but does it have drum brakes on just the rear or does it have drum brakes front and rear. My 2001 Carryall XRT has drum brakes front and rear and has the same offset front and rear. Other than that I don't have a clue, maybe someone that knows will come along with the answer soon.

Because the front has brakes, which off-set the front tires more than they would on a standard front end. Because of this, wheels with less off-set are used on the front. A vehicle without front wheel brakes would use four "rear" tires.
