Default Club car brake shoe thickness

Does anyone know the thickness of 1995 club car brake shoes? Just picked up one for $500 and brakes not working. Looked at them and someone had them all messed up. Put back together but still about 3mm from contacting the drum. Shoes have about 1/8" pad left on them. Any input would be cool. Thanks

I guess I'm not familiar with the auto adjuster screw. I adjusted the manual adjustment at the backside of the drum and made sure the slide adjustment was free. Is it possible that it has 94 brakes on it?

This was exactly my confusion. The first part of the serial # is ag9507....so it should be a 95. But it has the manual cone shaped adjuster at the top of the drum.

ok there ya go 7th week of production for 95 model (late sept 94) .. they used old style brakes
in jan 95 they did some changes thats why there is a difference

using the manual cone shaped adjuster , adjust them til they just drag a little

So It's probably got the wrong pads on it. It's got 4244 and 4245 shoes which the good ol Internet claims is for 95 and up cc. I guess I'll be buying the 94 and older shoes. Thx for the input btw
