1987 Clubcar Gas not running right
This past summer our 1987 clubcar starting not running right. when you push the pedal down it sometimes will just spin the belts and sounds like its idling.
I would tap on top of the carburetor and it would then go. Well I changed the carburetor, fuel pump and fuel filters and not it seems worse. Any help would be great. |

Re: 1987 Clubcar Gas not running right
Your motor needs
in order to run. You have to find out which of these elements is missing. Sounds like you may have ruled out fuel. If you motor is getting fuel, checking for spark is the next step. Pull your spark plug, get a pair of insulated pliers and hold the plug against the motor to ground it. Then push the gas. If it's got spark, then you should see the plug arc-ing and hear it clicking. |
