Re: 89 CC Build Underway
Mine's 12 with 3"spindle and 20" tire so minus 5 ....stock should be close to 7 inches...DS steering was all rack and pinion. I can get you a pic as there is a unit sitting on the garage floor if you need one?

Re: 89 CC Build Underway
Scotty,
In your wiring diagram, there is a junction below the key switch. Can you explain or show a picture of this. I realize that it is probably very simple, but I just don't know what it is and I like the idea of not having power to everything so I want to do it this way. Thanks! |

Re: 89 CC Build Underway
I bought a 3 to 1 electrical Crimp connector at the auto parts house and simply put the 3 leads in one end and the other end bolted (screwed) to the switched side of ignition. If you can't find a 3 into 1 you can use a connector for a bigger gauge wire and put more than 1 in it ? The standard key switch has only one connection going in and 1 going out... There are other ways to achieve this but that worked 4 me ....

Re: 89 CC Build Underway
Wow ?thats not what i expected at all? are your 20's mounted on 10 or 12 in rims? Fom my floor to the ground is almost 19 !!! I guess that s good, its priddy high and would like it a little higher.... And I have a ds and its definately not rack and pinion! Its a gear box mounted to a tie rod and a long adjustable bar that attaches to the right front spindle! What the heck. Help scotty whats up with that?
