Cool More Speed!

Looking for input. I have a 2015 Club Car Precedent. I have installed a plum quick motor, but did not change the controller. My cart runs around 30 mph . Would a controller help or not help my top speed?

The controller if programmable would allow more rpm if desired.
It would most likely have a higher amperage output so yes, speed could be increased too.
Higher voltage works too

Is your cart sepex or series? I assume sepex but I don't know club car. but when you change your sepex motor you should make sure the controller is using the correct field map. Your stock controller may not be able to take a new field map so an Alltrax controller may do well for you. Plum Quick will be able to provide the field map for the motor if it is sepex.

If it is series, none of this matters...

Both series and sepex can gain speed from increasing the voltage.
