Default FE350 exhaust valve Guide problems CarryAll

Rebuilding an FE350, The exhaust valve guide had slid so I removed it. I ordered a new one and the valve wouldn't fit in it. I returned it and ordered another one from a different source(thinking that Kawasaki had made a mistake). I just received it and same problem.
I have measured the stem on the valve and it is within tolerance. The new guide is not even close. Has anyone else had any similar problems.

The other item on this engine is that it has tappets not hyd. lifters. Block has FE350 cast near the oil drain plug. It is out of a 2000 Carryall turf II. I assume that it is the original engine.

Looking for any help

Thanks

You have the wrong parts. Sorry...

Kawasaki build a couple flavors of FE350. I've had both.

The club car ones all should have hydraulic lash adjusters. No adjustment available. Some replacement engines have adjustable tappets like the 290. And most of those engines I've seen are quite a bit newer, the one I had was manufactured in late 2014, it came out of a 2008 carryall).

I'd call david hicks at revolution golf cars, tell him what you've got and what you are needing and hopefully he will be able to hook you up with the right parts.

I'm quite certain, however, that the 2 flavors of.FE350 are different enough that the parts would not be interchangeable

I also believe the ignition coil on the newer one has a rev limiter built into the coil, instead of being a separate box. At least the engine I got didnt have a separate box or anything going to it. The coil was bad in mine though and I had a spare FE350 laying around I stole the coil and rev limiter from that motor and didnt have a problem.
