Adding brake lights to 2021 Precedent
Cart has factory pre-wired lights so I added an upgrade light kit. Plugged in to the 9 pin connector and in no time I had turn signals and a horn BUT the brake light wiring is kicking my butt. All directions online say I should find a red, brown and black wire under the mat by the pedal. The red should have 12V power. In mine I found a brown male and red female. there is also a red/white stripe and brown attached to a weird connector. None have power. Anyone have experience with this?

You will probably need to add the brake light relay under the front hood. If your doing LED tail lights you are OK to just jump the wire across because the LED don't require much amperage.
