Motor killers depend on the motor; some motors will scatter from centrifugal force others will arc because the insulation can not handle the higher voltage. Amperage can definitely over heat a motor and cause the solder to sling out. I have done the arcing and solder slinging but left the grenading to others…. So far.

Im going to tech for electrical stuff next year , and part of that class is electrical motors so maybe i can learn how to modify golf cart motors, im just trying to figure out ways i could figure out how to improve a motor.
