I come across messed up wheel stud threads all the time. For this reason I carry a 1/2x20 thread die for chasing messed up threads. You might want to try it first. Get a good quality die and a little light oil. Once I get it started I just run it on and off (slowly) with the cordless impact.... It's alot cheaper & Easier than new stud installation. Especially on a Club Car you gotta pull the axles to change studs ... Hope this helps?

Not trying to bring back a really old thread but on what Club Cars do the axles need to be pulled in order to remove the wheel studs? I have four buggered-up studs and I took one out just by rotating the axle to a spot where the stud could get out past the brake shoe and it came out just fine. No axle-pulling necessary.
