Default Tie rod end doesn't fit threads?

I tried the search but three letter words like tie rod don't work so here I am again with a question, I bough a tie rod on E-bay and it won't fit, it seems the old one was a left thread and the new one is right hand thread, everything else is the same, did i just get the wrong part?

Sorry to hear that a70, I hope you'll be able to return it, and get the right one!
Getting a Maintenance Service Manual, and an Illustrated Parts List for your cart, may help you in future situations like that!

I, personally, am not Ebay friendly, I've only had 1 experience with an Ebay purchase, and it wasn't pleasurable.
I prefer to spend the couple extra bucks and use a BGW sponsor for my cart parts,
That way, they do their best for me to get me the stuff I need (or want) and it helps them... help BGW!
Kind of a "3 birds with one stone" thing...

Just something to consiter next time you need something for your cart!

A tie rod (assembly) has twotie rod ends. One is left thread and the other end is right thread. So, if already installed, it is easy to adjust by simply turning the tie rod (body) without touching the ends, except to adjust the locking nuts.

Yea thanks I understand all that, loosten the locknuts or in some cases the sleeve clamps, then turn the sleeve (tube) whaterver you call it to lengthen or shorten the whole assy, I just wasn't thinking when I bid, it did say RH thread but I took it for granted thats what I had, wonder if I can run a LH die down and twist the threads the other way. I only paid 3.95 + 3.50 ship so It's not really worth the hastle to send back I'll just have to buy another one.
