my project 91 Marathon
bought cheap needing piston and rings. While waiting for parts, made 5" lift kit, painted, recovered my seats, Made my kick plate and rocker panels from 8' pieces of chrome diamond plate from Koffler sales company, made front brush guard from an old metal corner TV stand, (had to fabricate it a bit) & installed lights. Now I need to find a set of wheels and tires. for it.

Re: my project 91 Marathon
How is that brush guard connected to the cart? it appears to be connected to body and the front axle, which will bend the body, ruin you new paint job, cause a harsh ride because of lack of suspension travel, and rip apart your new brush guard. It looks good, I'm not trying to say you did a bad job, I'm just trying to save you future problems.

Re: my project 91 Marathon
I agree. I think you need to do away with the top support piece mounted to the cart.

Re: my project 91 Marathon
The top supports have rubber washers with lock nuts so it is solid, but will still move with the suspension. I may do away with the frame mount and figure out how to just bolt to the hood if I forsee a huge problem.

Re: my project 91 Marathon
Only thing left is the roll cage now. Not bad for only having $660 into it
