clutch question
i'm in the middle of my clone swap and i was wondering at what rpm the club car stock clutch engages at. the practicle reason for this is that i'd like to change my gear ratio by playing with the spockets on my jackshaft setup that drives my driven clutch so that at an idle the driven clutch will stay open, but have a higher final drive rpm while driving

Re: clutch question
it is pretty low. I have a hd spring in my drive to keep it open so my carryall will idle. witha regular sporing in there it wants to creep.

Re: clutch question
No experience, but it would seem any change in rpm through gearing
at idle ( the clone may idle a little high) will put you in uncharted water with the clutch engagement. |
