I don't see that motor pulling that much power. If it does I would be suprised. Whats the RPM limit on that 72 volt motor? For an electric car motor it doesn't pull many amps.
I don't think you will have any trouble as long as you keep the RPM's to a sensable level. |

FYI: I just got another email from another expert and he agreed with you and said that the electronic controllers sometimes have a bypass which directs all power to the motor when at top throttle position. |
