1990 gas marathon oil leak
have an oil leak on my 1990 gas merathon. Running good but it looks like it is either where the oil line hits the oil container or the container is cracked. Does anyone know what kind of oil line this thing takes as I ahve been looking everywhere for a post. I think I will try replacing it first before the oil tank.

I'm assuming that this is an 2 cycle? I would disconnect everything that is for the oil pump and tank and premix the gas with oil 1 oz per gallon of gas. Too much can go wrong with the oil system to rely on. will need to plug off the tubing that goes to the carb. Hope that this is want you are looking for to eliminate your leakage

Yep,Do Not rely on the oil-system,they are too problematic.Unhook it,Pre-Mix 1oz./gal and enjoy.Hope this helps.
