Brake adjustment HELP??
First off i would like to say this site is great!!! My sons and i have taken a barely running 1988 EZGO Marathon, one is 8 the other is 12, I had absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of golf carts and i must say it runs pretty good now and is alot of fun, useful for chores as well. My questions is about the brake setup, the hill brake will release SOMETIMES when the gas is pressed but not all the time, and I know for a fact the shoes are shot.I will be odering new ones soon. How do i adjust the hill brake? What is the best way to change the brake shoes? What is the ideal cable and adjuster settings? How can i make sure adjusters are working correctly?any tips or help will be greatly appreciated!!!!
