Wheels and tires question
So, I was under the impression that I would have to lift my cart to get anything bigger then a 10" wheel and tire under it. But I was at a large Golf Cart Lot and Customazation shop the other day and he was saying i could do 12's under my CC but the front tires would rub some when i turned sharply.
Is this true... can i put 12's with lo pro's on there with out a lift? |

Re: Wheels and tires question
I seen a cart on here with 14" with low pros only having to modify the inner rear bumper.

Re: Wheels and tires question
I've seen quite a few with 12 inch wheels and low pro tires, no lift.

Re: Wheels and tires question
Here are a couple of my Club Car before I lifted it. They are 12 inch wheels.
I had trouble with the back tires rubbing with people on the back seat. I did not have HD springs then. |

Re: Wheels and tires question
With my 4X4 we buy the intended tires (37" tires), use a forklift to lift it and examine the interference if any. Make necessary adjustments and you are done.
I would think the same applies here. |

Re: Wheels and tires question
I would think it would be fine. My 12 inch wheels only rubbed every once in awhile,it was usually with 2 people on the back and when hitting a bump.

Re: Wheels and tires question
I just thought of why I got rid of my first wheels. Think about how hard the wheels will be to clean when you pick them out.
