Getting XRT810 to start (turn over engine)
Hi: I have a 2007 XRT 810 gas Club Car
that started right up the first few times I tried it after buying it about a year ago. Then it would not turn over but got it to turn over and start up by short circuiting the solenoid. Assuming the problem was the solenoid I bought a new one and replaced the old one (hopefully correctly) but the thing still won't turn over unless I short circuit the now new solenoid. Next next? thanks |

Don't quote me on this but I think my wiring diagram show's a fuse off the solenoid. Could that fuse be blown meaning the solenoid isn't functioning but then when you bypass the solenoid it starts?

Re: Getting XRT810 to start (turn over engine)
start by checking the microswitches that is most likely your problem either that or a loose wire on the micro switches , see the wiring diagrams in the sticky section

Thank you gentlemen. Fuses look fine.
Will check microswitches. |
