LOCKMAN do you have a wiring schematic for a key start cart, I bench tested the solenoid and it works fine, with everything wired up and a ground hooked to one small post it blows a fuse when I turn key to start position

Here is a key start wiring diagram. I had an issue with the starter solenoid, it had a short in it and would blow one of the fuses.

IT'S ALIVE.......thanks to you guys help . all my wires where in right places my problem ended up being that diode that jumps the small poles on solenoid maybe shorted out but without it hooked up cart starts and runs hook it up and cart blows fuse without turning over, also is it possible for a micro switch to be bad even though it passes a continuity test

bad diode on starter solenoid was blowing fuse when you turn key to start position. $1.99 diode from radio shack and problem solved
