need advice on new engine?
need help and advice. i have 1996 club car counter clockwise rotation engine. something broke inside and blew a hole in case bought the size of baseball right under starter generator. a new case is 500 dollars and new cam is to. and cheapiest motor new was 2,300 dollars. called buggies unlimited they had one for 1,900 but cant get anymore. my engine is the fe290. so does anyone know what motor i should use to just bolt in and where to get a new engine cheaper? and can i upgrade to a fe350 counterclockwise with out changing anything. i just want easyiest fix to get cart going again! i was gonna buy rebuilt engine for 700 but they wolnt accept mine for core with the hole in it! plz help

Check out vegas carts in the sponsor section, last I knew he was working on a drop in kit for his clone motors. You could get 2x the hp for half the cost of a new stocker.

I got a new FE350 to replace me FE290 from Carts Parts Plus about a year ago. I can't remember exactly what I paid but it was under $900 shipped.
