Probably not. I don't know if anyone makes a kit but I thought I saw some before

They didn't come stock. You can upgrade it to a "limited slip" with something like this:

Ezgo txt did not come from the factory with posi, but the one above appears to be the one from EZGO (like used on all ezgo rxv). Plowmans also offers a kit to do it.

My cart has the EZ-GO limited slip installed. I use my cart almost exclusively for hunting in the hills of SW Pa. (We have hills here...and Mountains too.) After 8 years of running my cart year-round my limited slip seems to be worn out. As there are times when going in forward, only one wheel will spin. When I stop, and then go again, the LTD slip will engage and I will have posi-traction again. Now, remember, I've been running this hard for 8 years.

I'm going to replace my limited slip with the Plowman's unit. http://www.plowmanscarts.com/carts.c...1446759842&v=2 The reason is because the Plowman's unit will run in both forward and reverse. The EZ-GO only works in forward. Yeah...not in reverse.

Food for thought.

I'm having trouble getting the link to the limited slip differential at plowmans to work. Is anyone else able to get to the link?

Yeah, they must have done some changes to their web site. Try this link http://www.plowmanscarts.com/index.html and then below the rolling picture block on the left, click the link they call "View our demonstration Video's" and that will at least take you to a bunch of videos. One of 'em is a cart in reverse, against a wall burning rubber on concrete. Yeah.....that will give you posi in reverse!!!

Here is the correct link, I believe. Googled Plowman's Posi and got this hit.

Update:
My differential carrier is packed up and headed to Don Plowman in Flint, MI. It should be there on the 23rd, Don said they can turn the order same day it arrives. They machine the gears and install the posi unit, and send it back with their high friction lube. My mission, per Don, is to get every drop of gear lube out of the axles and housing. He said that was the key to success. The reason he machines gears and installs the units as part of the $200 price is that he was getting a lot of warranty claims and returns. Most are traced back, he said, to residual gear oil, with improper installation being the second leading cause of problems.

That buys me a couple of extra days to paint the trans-axle case and axle.
