EZGO PDS Problem
My friend has a 36V PDS EZGO electric cart, I do not know the year. It has brand new T105 batteries and all the connections look good. He said he is having a problem where the cart can be fully charged and run normal. He stops and then goes again and the cart barely moves. This will happen on and off throughout the day. I told him to check all the connections in the controller box and that if they all look good tight perhaps his controller is bad. I am no expert, so I thought I would see if anyone had any other thoughts. Thank you in advance for any help.

Re: EZGO PDS Problem
Have him put it in the diagnostic mode and see what fault it gives out. I'm thinking bad solenoid myself.

Re: EZGO PDS Problem
Thanks, his controller box cover is pretty dirty and I did not even see those instructions at the bottom. I will go by this week and help him and see what we can find out, thanks!

Re: EZGO PDS Problem
There is a 4 pin connector between the foot pedal box and the controller, have him unplug this inspect the pins for corrosion. Sometimes just re-establishing contact will fix throttle issues.
2nd. Check the speed magnet for damage, it's wires and plug into the controller. 3rd. Inspect the pedal box for water / dry with blower as needed. |

Read post #2 and see if it kicks out a beep code to tell you what's wrong with your cart. Probably the speed sensor. |
