Re: Alltrax "overcurrent" then shut down??
This might be a dumb question but did you check if your motor was shorted?

Re: Alltrax "overcurrent" then shut down??
Update:
I went through just about everything with a voltage meter while taking direction from Alltrax support. All voltage appears good. We tested the resistance to the motor and that seems good as well. It's looking like I actually got 2 defective controllers in a row.. |

I get sent defective controllers, sometimes two in row far more often from FSIP, have yet to deal with bad out of box Alltrax anything yet (knock on wood)

Re: Alltrax "overcurrent" then shut down??
Wow, never seen such things! Never heard of a hat trick. I can count on 2 fingers how many Alltrax's were bad out of the box in my experience (and I been at this a while). Not saying your situation was BS, and I hope someone at Alltrax is watching (T. T. Should be reading this).

That is mathematically very improbable. I say don't buy those lotto tickets.

Re: Alltrax "overcurrent" then shut down??
Maybe a bad batch of a certain component? Interesting to know if the serial numbers were close.

Re: Alltrax "overcurrent" then shut down??
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. That being that it has to be nearly impossible. But.. Alltrax technical support went through everything with me and sure enough 2 bad controllers in a row..
