Default ALLTRAX Wiring - no light no click

... EDIT ...

Finished installing SR72500 in 2001 ezgo 36v series cart.
New Heavy Duty F/W switch
New ITS switch
New Solenoid (SW180-6 36V) CLICK AND GOES ONLY WHEN F/R is in REVERSE (but no beep from switch - heck it could be going forward as I have it on jack stands)
New 1awg wire (all 13)

6/6v Pack = 38.5
battery to solenoid =38.5
controller side solenoid = 37.7

The green light on the controller NOW comes on ONLY with F/W in reverse (blinks 4 times then stays on solid)

.
The solenoid does click (SW-180) ONLY WHEN F/W is in reverse position

I have a wiring problem as the F/R switch beeps when placed in forward and stops when moved to reverse.

Do I have the control wires placed wrong on the solenoid?
Tied two small black wires that were on old solenoid together with spade to bottom sonnector on solenoid (which I believe is neg(-)) and the black that was in the old controller has spade going to black on alltrax.
Orange wire has spade on going to blue on alltrax
Tied two small red wires that were on solenoid together with spade connected to top connector on solenoid (which i believe is pos(+) and where i have stripe of diode)

Small blue wire to F/R micro switch
Small red from the charging wire loom in other side of the micro switch on F/R

Orange wire to F/W micro switch
Black wire to beeper on F/W switch

I have cables from motor connected the following:
S2 to B on F/W
A1 to C on F/W
S1 to D on F/W

Cables from controller
M- to A2 on motor
B- to Neg battery Pack
B+ to A on F/W and one up to one solenoid post

Battery Pack Pos to other solenoid post

Post some pics for these guys of your wiring. No need for up close shots, they can zoom in.

I’m not knowledgeable enough to decipher your description, but the two small posts of the solenoid energize the coil, so one of them needs + and the other needs -. The two larger posts are from the pack and to the controller.

Couple more pics and other info I bypass the reed (sp) switch, other than that nothing else is different from stock.

Well one thing I see is I think your control arm for the shifter is upside down. Rod should be pointing up at the switch and the shifter. Once you have done that use this diagram to chase your power problem. https://alltraxinc.com/wp-content/up...T-Wire-Dia.pdf

I just looked at the old F/W switch and the bus bars are in different locations when in reverse ?!?!?! I will try to take and post a pic.

(and thanks for the reply about the arm for shifter)

the old bus bars go from top downward to left, BRAND NEW on goes from top downward to the right ?
me thinks something is wrong...

Solder the diode in or remove it before you short something out.

Flip the arm. Facing front to back, if you rotate the fnr clockwise the fnr should also.

flipped the control arm (so its on top)
Now the beeper beeps in reverse, green light flashes 4 times, the stays on... problem is the wheels are going forward.

Move F/R to forward, light flashes 4 times, stays on, but no wheel movement and light turns red once pedal reaches the floor.

(getting close)

(and I soldered the diode but you have to take my word for it, there will be no pictures...)

Have you connected your computer and checked if you have any errors or if you are programmed for the correct throttle?

That red might be yellow stating wide open throttle.
