2006 Speed Controller
I have a 2006 Electric EZ-GO. I bought it used and have had it for 3 years. Kids use it to go the neighborhood ponds and fish. It quit working and through troubleshooting cadence beep system it came back as a bad controller. I replaced the controller and it worked for about 3 weeks and then quit running. The beep system says it’s the controller again. From what I have read, the controller malfunctioning is somewhat rare but to have 2 go bad is an anomaly so I assume it is something in the wiring that is frying the controller. Problem is I have no idea where to start looking for the problem. Any suggestions?

Re: 2006 Speed Controller
What controller did you replace the original one with? Did you get a “rebuilt “ one?

Re: 2006 Speed Controller
Since you mentioned beep code troubleshooting, I suspect you have a PDS drive.
There are only two codes that suggest replacing the controller, both as last alternatives. Which beep code is the controller giving 1-1 or 3-1? |
