Controller question
I love my xct500 Alltrax controller. I hate that it’s not water proof. I use my cart to deer hunt and I put it thru some rough stuff. Does anybody make a waterproof controller???? Has anybody thought about waterproofing with flexseal??? Would it work????

Re: Controller question
The Alltrax XCT is waterproof. Haven’t you seen the videos on their YouTube channel? [emoji16]

Re: Controller question
Strange. I thought that was one of the things they talk about. Or is that only SR controllers?

Re: Controller question
Well, now we have to ask.. which is having problems with water? Your wiring and sensors, or the controller itself?
I'm not trying to lead you one way or another, but which parts are particularly having issues? Maybe we have ideas to solve the issues. |

Re: Controller question
The controller and the wire sensors. It’s a in general question. It’s hard to keep water out of that entire area. I have to be able to go thru water and also be able to wash the mud off when I’m done.
I took the cart to the car wash yesterday. I sprayed the mud off I didn’t spray under the seat and I still had lights flashing on the controller. No damage to the controller but it worries me. |

Re: Controller question
Is there any way to mount the controller higher on the cart to avoid any potential water? IIRC, I think the controllers are splash proof but not water proof.
