E-Z-Go 2007 36v won’t go
Cart running fine than stopped found F1 (white wire) had shorted out on solenoid post (opposite side to battery) after melting wire insulation, what damage would this have done and should solenoid get that hot?

Probably took out controller and might have taken out motor.
I suspect the F1 wire was rubbing against the controller side large terminal and the insulation was eventually worn through. The heat damage is likely caused by shorting the full battery pack voltage to the field winding circuit. |
