Rxv does nothing when key is turned on

Hello to all, I bought 2 carts today with issues. This one has full voltage, but when I turn on the key I don't get any cycling whatsoever. I know there is all kinds of stuff on these carts and have no idea why it won't even try to cycle at all. Any ideas where to start. The controller is black in color.

Sounds like you have a Curtis controller. Here is a troubleshooting guide.

OK just to avoid a bunch of effort; check the simple stuff. Is the run/tow switch in tow mode? If in tow mode the cart will do nothing when the key is turned on.

Secondly, what's the charger interface look like? There is a single pin plug that connects into the wiring harness; a temperature sensor that goes on the positive terminal of the first battery in the pack and of course the + and - charger cables.

When any of those are amiss, my experience is, the cart will do nothing when the key switch is turned on

Good point jkredman sometimes it really is the simple stuff. After I had my cart for a month, I couldn't understand why the batteries kept going dead so quickly. Turns out I have a bad ignition switch that didn't turn off when "I turned it off". So until I replace the ignition switch, I just turn the switch to "tow" so it shuts everything down. Next thing on my list is to replace the ignition and face plate.

I forgot to mention there are fuses, typically attached to the front of the plastic cover where the run/tow switch is. We want to make sure they're not blown.

Okay so far I checked all the fuses there is no issue there I checked the Run tow switch and even ohm it to make sure it was functioning properly all was good there. Not really sure how to check the charger port please advise the little heat sensor deal is connected on to the battery and everything looks good there

Ok I sent controller out and the unit tested good. So now where do I look

Okay I have heard there is an issue with a charger port on these carts and on EZGO goes now is there any way to test that to make sure that's the issue

Check for B+ at blue wire on port. When charger not plugged in
