Angry Brake Pedal Bolt

How do I remove the pivot bolt on the brake pedal, the one that goes through the notorious torsion spring? I tapped on it, tried to turn it, pried it. It moves with the pedal. I have soaked it in break free lube. I don't want to damage it.

Go to the Stickies and download the manuals.

I haven't done it on a cart, but many times, you just have to find a way to relieve the spring tension from the bolt. Be careful though. Definitely wear eye protection.

I had the same problem with mine and ended up pretty much destroying the bolt and replacing it. When I go the bolt out, it was so corroded that it needed to be replaced anyway.
