Three cheers to JonnieB for the schematic.Unhooked all wires on motor ,Jumped A2 to S1,A1 to Neg And s2 to 12 Volts Pos and motor ran.Hooked up motor wires and jumped solenoid to 36 V and motor ran with no control from go pedal. Now I am not sure if it is the Solenoid or the unit that the go pedal rod is hooked up to.Im trying to up load pictures.

These old cars are rather simple. Basic activation circuit involves one wire from key switch to main battery pack positive (should also have a charger receptacle wire there as well), the other key switch wire goes to one side of the pedal microswitch in the speed contact board assembly, a rod should be resting against it when accelerator pedal is up. the other side of the microswitch goes to one of the small solenoid wires, the other small solenoid wire goes to battery pack negative. sometimes, there's a microswitch in the F/R shifter that breaks the wire from this circuit that can go bad and is often bypassed or missing on ones that roll in here.

Solenoid can be ruled out easily by disconnecting the wires on the two larger posts, and jumping battery pack voltage to the smaller terminals, one wire to positive, the other to negative. if solenoid clicks it's usually ok. if you get sparks or buzzing it's bad.
