You can also just make sure the cable is nowhere near the batteries, I use a 10ft USB cable that terminates in the glove box.

I use a USB-A cover that stays attached to cable so it doesn't get misplaced.

Yes, you can do all of that. I feel obligated to warn people of the hazard.
And most people are done making changes (if any) in a weekend or 2 and after that they never access the controller again. Have fun |
