Battery voltage looks good after a full charge.
Measure them after a full charge after 10-12 hours without use. Remember battery voltage will drop after a short drive but should rebound after it sits unused for 1/2- 1 hour later. FWI I had same concern if 12 convertor was drawing down batteries. Since my carts sits unused for weeks,months it was hard to tell if any amount convertor may have been drawing battery down via voltage readings with or without it connected. Voltage drop to minimum if any. I just ended up putting a 48 volt,20 amp rated toggle switch on battery wire from positive battery terminal to convertor since my convertor does’nt have a trigger wire. When I use my cart switch convertor on. Personally think too much thought and worry is put into how much convertor may or may not draw. If you use and charge your cart daily or weekly doubt it matters. Cart sets for months like mine, just install toggle switch or switch and relay and turn on when cart gets used and be done.😊 |
