Default 26984 Charger

I’m new to the forum so I apologize if this has been ask before, but did not see in searching thru exist forums.
I just got a 07 txt cart with charger, has 2017 batteries, with terminals clean.
1)When plugging in the charger to a wall outlet, should it hum? Currently does nothing
2) when plugging the charging plug into the cart, nothing happen, gauge on charger doesn’t move either
3) cart does move when accelerator is pushed
4) cart does not have a battery meter installed, yet

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have a handheld volt meter? Can you check the V of the battery pack?

I do know if the pack is too low that for some chargers it will prevent them from turning on. But I thought that if it was enough V to move the cart it'd be enough V to turn on the charger.

There are many models of charger too. I don't know if your charger should hum or not, but others might know if you post what the model of charger is. Have you tried searching based on your charger model?

Do you have the make/ name of charger? Does the volt meter increase on battery pack when charger is pluged in? More info you can give forum the better.
Your batteries are definitely low. Maybe to low to initiate charger.

A model 26984 is batter known as a Total Charge III.

Plug into cart, then plug into AC power and it should hum if battery pack is above about 30V at the cart's charge receptacle.

Here's the manual for it.
