Disconnecting reverse micro switch just shuts down everything regardless of f1 or f2 swap.

If a DCS cart (including those with a DCX or NCX installed) runs when the direction selector is in Reverse, both F/R switches are good, the solenoid is good, the batteries are good, the cables are good, etc., etc. and etc. Maybe not all that good, but at least good enough to move the cart.
The DCS controller and its aftermarket clones, default to Forward and has to be told to do Reverse (B+ on Pin-4). To get the controller to power up, B+ is needed on Pins 6, 9 & 10, and then applying B+ to Pin-5 causes the solenoid to activate. Pins 9 & 10 have B+ on them whenever the Run/Tow switch is in Run. Pin-6 has B+ on it when a direction is selected on F/R AND Keyswitch is on. Pin-5 has B+ on it when pedal is pushed. The symptoms you've posted indicate the controller is bad. |
