did you ever get this resolved?
I have the same issue. Stock lights and just a unused purple and red wire (i believe) under the cup holder!! |

if you do not have a factory wire harness DO NOT MESS WITH Wires under cupholder.
messing with them can (WILL?) result in blown controller. Use switch added to light harness and placed on brake pedal assy. |
