I like it swan! Trying to find one in black right now! On second thought, any 6 year old could steal one of these things just by lifting the seat and using an alligator clip (don't ask). I'll just take the $3 key option at my local dealer. Would you believe they "just sold all out"! More coming next week.

When I picked up some extra keys at my dealer my notches didn't line up the same as the "stock" key (like what you had with your in-laws). I ended up filing more notches and now have "master keys".

A barrel s/w and kill s/w are still on my round-to-it list. I've seen the barrel switches for $10.

The more I search the more I am finding two distinct different keys. I went by a second shop today who also said they just ran out and have an order in for more next week. Lol

Got your PM!

(I think) 1982 and up DS and Precedents use the universal CC1 key like the one in your picture.
I've heard that larger Carryall's (272+) that have their own distinct key, (so golfers won't run off with them!) but I have yet to see one!

The universal key is a double sided key that has notches on top and bottom,
"Uncommon" switches and Carryall switches are one sided and have notches only cut on one side.
I've never heard of a two different double sided universal Club Car keys!

I just spent some time on my CC dealers website... there is only one universal double sided key from CC!
BUT... there is a HD/Columbia (89 -95) double sided key that has a different head and notches more towards the middle of the key.
(not like it matters)

I don't know what else to tell you!
