Default Tightening steering?

My steering is VERY loose - how do I tighten it up? I can turn wheel about 3 inches either way with zero drag or pull on tires..

I can align tires - install about anything but have zero idea how to do this!

Thanks

I believe that on this model there are rebuild kits available. You might also need to check the tie rod ends and the bushings for the king pins.

exactly - get under the cart and have a helper move the steering wheel within the loose zone... you should be able to see what is moving and what is not. THe steering box has a replaceable rack and pinion if needed.

Post 2001 easier access than pre 2001 but yeah, pretty straight forward. Kits readily available.

Don't forget grease all spindles, tie rods, pitman arm, and steering gearbox if it has those.
My cart had a lot of slop and after doing this it reduced the play by half.
