solenoid help 77 ezgo resistor cart
the cart runs but when I tested the solenoid I get no click and my multimeter says it is open still. I do get a small spark when I hook the battery positive up to it. I'm using 2 6volt batteries in series as the power source. Am I doing something wrong or is it possible the solenoid is partially bad but still allowing the cart to run? There is also no resistor or diode like the solenoid on my 90 marathon speed controller cart.
