More problems have been caused by water than dirt under the seat.

The piezoelectric beepers used by EZGO will emit a fairly loud sound level with very little voltage applied and they barely draw any current.

It depends on where they are located and how they are connected, but tap water in most locations is conductive enough to provide a path for the volts and microamps needed.

Good to hear. I rinse batts with baking soda water when needed and flush with a slow stream.
And mud/dirt is good camouflage for hunting buggies.
Cost me a charging port last time I P/W my cart.

I just did mine today and the buzzer went off, I disconnected while the batt compartment dried in the sun with the seat off and no issues! I use a gallon or 2 of water with baking soda and rinse lightly. Many past posts use this method!

Lots of carts don't work after washing out the battery compartment.
