Excel speed upgrade
I have a 2013 Club Car Precedent with a PH serial number. I bought a speed magnet and installed it before reading that it shouldn't actually work. I have actually picked up 2 mph (GPS) with magnet and don't have the surging that is described in the forums. I don't notice any other performance issues either.
Is it possible that my car is actually not an Excel controller? The controller number is XL1311022357 (I think). Can the magnet cause any damages if I leave it in? |

Re: Excel speed upgrade
You are fine. If you got anything that is good and will not hurt anything. Obviously you have an earlier controller and its programming was not and intricate as the later ones....
