Club Car Onward - Same Suspension for Lift Kits?
I have a 2013 Precedent - I have a Long arm kit from American All Sports - I was debating buying an Onward cart - just wanted to know if the long arm kit would fit or if they changed something drastic in the front?
Also have an upgraded motor and navitis 600amp controller - are all those parts still the same to use from a precedent? I am new to the forum did a few google searches but wasn't 100% successful with it. Just wanted to basically know how much of my stuff I could transfer over If I bought the new cart? I really like the seats and front end of the onward and mine is a little beat up already... Thanks for any input! |

TahoeDawgZ71 is the resident Club Car guru around here it seems. He is the owner of the site sponsor revolutiongolfcars.com. I got my information and majority of parts from him. He took a lot of time listening to my needs and coming up with appropriate parts. I would recommend you give him a call or email.

Contact E36Racer. He has an Onward and has done a few modification to it that might help answer some of your questions.

Re: Club Car Onward - Same Suspension for Lift Kits?
The Precedent and the Onward are essentially the exact same car. The Onward just has a different body on it plus some extra flashy accessories to go with it. Underneath, they're the same. I'm a bit confused though on which lift kit you have. You said it was a long arm, are you referring to a "Long Travel" or a "Double A-Arm" lift kit? It doesn't matter though, they're interchangeable from car to car regardless.

Essentially if it fits a 2013 and up (possibly earlier years) Precedent it will fit an Onward. To see how much an Onward is just a Precedent look under the front body. You see the same plastic structure for the Precedent including the dome front of that cart.
