Quality?
Unfortunately, a brand new piston ring broke during installation. I know we have to take care but, apparently, there was a pinch with rust inside it...
Is Yamaha facing quality troubles now they have more and more parts "Made in China"? Sad... ...On the other hand better it broke during the rebuilt instead than later! |

Re: Quality?
That's a bummer! Didn't know yamaha would send to China for production, they've always been so quality oriented.
Must have gotten a set that has sat on a shelf for a long time. I'm thinking the k150928A is some sort of date/production code. Just a complete guess, and probably not even in the ballpark, but maybe K=November, 15=day, 09=year? |
