Mounting charger on board. How to eliminate the safety charge receptical switch?
I have a new 2019 RXV Elite Lithium and want to mount the DeltaQ charger under the seat. The dealer wants a fortune. Its a simple bolt in mount and I can purchase a receptical kit that just takes a regular 110Volt cord end to power the cart charger under the seat.....however; there are 2 small wires that go to the back of the receptical that are a safety circuit of some type so the cart cannot move if the charger is plugged in. I'm ready to mount the charger inside and just figured out that this safety circuit is there and now I'm stuck. The print is of no help....it just shows the two wires in a connector and then going into the BSM battery "module". Can anyone assist with this issue. I know it can be done because on the dealer floor they have a Western Cart and a number of RXV lithium with the modification. They won't tell how to do it and EZGO does not yet sell a kit to do this on lithium carts. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks much. |
