I Know I Know, time to stop Scratching My Head, and bite the bullet.

Was hoping someone would have a miracle fix for this.

Gonna go with the SR48500

You'll like the SR, it's user programmable and you can record data logs that tell you all sorts of things. Also, you can monitor the parameters in real time, which is handy for troubleshooting.
