club car will not run
I have a 2006 model club car DS IQ and it will run. I have gone thru the test procedure and every thing looks ok. I have disconnected the battery and after 30 min connected it back up, and when I do I get a spark and the car will move about 10 feet and stop. I am guessing the controller needs to be replaced but not sure. Any suggestions??

Re: club car will not run
Are you putting the TOW/RUN switch in the TOW position when you apply power? If you're not, this could be the reason for your spark. Another reason for a spark could be due to a voltage regulator for 12 volt accessories that you have installed on your cart. In this case, the spark is normal. As for the operation of the cart, listen closely to the solenoid when you try to go. Are you hearing a solenoid click? If not, that's probably your issue. IQ cars with bad solenoids will run for a few feet and stop. Won't do it again until they've sat there for a while and re-charged the capacitors in the controller to run another few feet only to stop again. If you're not hearing a click at the solenoid, replace it. OEM solenoid part number is 101908701.
