'99 DS solid state conversion finished!
I just finished converting my '99 DS 36v toaster cart to 48v solid state. I used an Alltrax SPM 48500, 400a solenoid, SW202 reversing contactor, 2 gauge cables, and an AMD 7114 Beast motor. I converted my v-glide to a 3 wire multistep potentiometer and added a 48v-12v reducer for the lights. While I was at it I put on a 3" Jake's spindle lift and some 20x8-10 Turf tires with 10x7 Tempest wheels. I want to thank this forum for all the information and ideas that made this project go so smoothly

That is some nice work, I like using the diamond plate for the voltage reducer.

Re: '99 DS solid state conversion finished!
Thanks guys! I have had this cart for 2 years and have been planning and accumulating parts for at least a year for this. I bought the controller and motor from other members here. Finally decided to tackle the install when my original v-glide melted and would stick wide open!
