Default 2011 Precedent acting up at 80% charge

Hi,
I researched this question on the forum and did not see anything here. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

2011 Precedent 48V
Batteries are about 5 months old
6" lift with 23" tires
Replaced the power meter a month or so ago

Problem 1: Cart runs perfect when fully charged, however when the power meter reads about 80% or a little lower, the cart seems to take a while to hit top speed. It's like it'll run at a lower speed and then after a minute or so you can feel a little more power and then it's running top speed. Almost like it hit another higher gear. Sometimes it won't hit the higher gear at all. Do these carts have gears? What might be causing it to not hit high speed after the charge drops about 20%?

Problem2 (maybe related): When the cart power meter reaches about 70% or so, it starts doing a little jerking action like the cart is about to die. Just today, it did the jerking thing and then the power meter showed no juice. Let it sit for a couple hours and now the power meter showed about 70%, but jerked when I drove it back down the driveway to put on the charger.

Again no issues at all when fully charged, just when it's around 70% to 80%.

Any ideas? Solenoid, Controller, etc? Thanks!

Two things, your “fuel gauge” / power meter is less than reliable to say it nicely. The only true way to gauge pack voltage is a digital display meter. Resting pack voltage below 49 and into the 48 range is showing a truly discharged or low charge pack.
Your meter has a setting to adjust 100% and so forth but they are less than good at truly giving a pack voltage diagnosis. Your “70%” is likely a 47v reading if you were to pull a pack voltage reading. Call Dave at revolutiongolfcars.com and get a digital meter. You’ll be better off for it and better off for speaking to Dave in general.

Everything HTB said, but also pace the cart in Tow and then remove your Main Pack Negative for about 20 minutes and then reconnect it and place it back in Run. This will reset your OBC to ensure your pack is getting fully charged.
