Default EzGo electric shuttle not moving-no click

New to the forum -

I have a early 2000s ezgo shuttle 36v cart. Use it all the time, where I live we use golf carts more than cars on some occasions...

One morning I was going to drive it and it would not move, key turned on lights and indicator but no movement. A neighbor said to spray water on batteries which we did and it worked fine for a few days but then it happened again.

It drove just fine to the grocery store, (appx 1mi from home) but when I was going to head home, lights came on but no movement.

Already changed battery cables and solenoid was clicking but not anymore. I replaced solenoid yesterday and that’s not it either.

Batteries are still at full charge and lights and indicators are still turning on when key is turned

Another thing was that mine has only two fuses but my neighbor has three, it looks as if mine might be missing a fuse but we tried putting one in in the supposed missing spot but nothing...

Hope I can get some help as I am having golf cart withdraws

Which drive type?
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...en-system.html

There’s a solenoid activation circuit highlighted on a wiring diagram, but we’ve got to know which one to give you.

Always a good idea to start with putting a dmm on the pack and getting a reading for a cart that won’t go.

I don’t know about the spraying water on the batteries to make the cart go. Going to have a lot of repair shops out of business if that gets out.

Report back with the above and one of the guys here will get you straightened out.

I think it’s a series, far left column of the diagram shown

No tow run switch and controller looks the same

Regarding the fuses: If you're talking about the fuse panel under the seat on the drivers side rear wheel splash guard, they are for the 12v accessories, lights, brake lights, and horn depending on how the cart is equipped. Nothing to do with operation of the cart otherwise.

Lol that explains why my horn doesn’t work...

Could be. If you have a foot switch for the horn, they seem to go bad over time also. Even if you don't use it much.

When installing solenoid does it matter how the small piece between the two small terminals is put on?
Pretty sure I did it the same way the old one was wired

You have the lever next to your right knee? It’s connected to a rod underneath the seat? If yes, it’s a series.

If you’re talking about the diode, it does matter. It is polarity sensitive. The stripe on one end goes to the side with the positive wire.

Are you installing a new solenoid? Did you get confirmation that the old one was bad?
