Default Voltage reducer

I have a ‘11 RXV that has a light kit(not sure if it was a factory option or done after the fact). I would like to replace the halogen lights with LEDs. I assume I should be able to just swap out the lights without having to mess with a reducer, correct? The halogens certainly aren’t getting 48v, right? Is there an onboard reducer somewhere? I would also like to add 12v undercarriage lighting. If there is an in board reducer somewhere can I just tap into, or will I need to add another reducer?

Thanks in advance.

You can check to be sure lights are 12 volt with voltmeter. Can’t imagine they are not.
Use volt meter to follow 12 volt back to it’s sorce. Convertor usually under seat.
It will most likely have a fuse on the output.

Do you have fuse block/ panel under seat? If so it has fuse’s for accessories like lights, horn, ect. That would be output of 12 volt convertor.

Factory most all had a finned aluminum box just under the charge port. it has 2 terminals just above it where additional accessories could easily hook up. Just a quick pic under the seat on the driver's side would clear that all up. (Left most battery and the area next to it).
