2006 Club Car Precedent Electric wont go or is hesitant

I purchased a used 2006 Club Car Precedent (48V Electric)
I have since installed new batteries in the past few weeks and have had good performance.
Last week, after a full charge, it would not move forward or reverse. The reverse buzzer noise would sound but no movement. I also could hear no clicking sound as I have seen mentioned in other posts.
Last night in trying it again, I was able to get it to move in both directions, but the response seemed to be hesitant, meaning I would have to floor the pedal before it started to respond and start to pick up speed.

Please advise what I should be investigating and how?

I have replaced the MCOR2 and now the hesitation is gone but now it is completely unresponsive to forward or reverse after working fine last night.
