1-GRN (+) 2-RED LED flash = Battery Under Voltage

1-GRN (+) 6-RED LED flash = Pre-Charge Failure

The 2 red flashes suggest one or several batteries are failing under load (trying to go) or they aren't charged sufficiently to power the cart.
Well according to the above either the batteries are bad, they weren't when I started, where the cart isn't charged. I've had them charging for 4 to 5 hours and it's still doing the same thing. Still goes from green to 2 red blinks.

It appears as if you have shorted out the solenoid connections. You have the two wires connected across from each other, they should be on top of each other. I'll try and find a picture in case my explanations isn't clear.

Here is the picture of how it should be connected

If you look at the first picture of the solenoid I posted, the light blue wire is on the + (top) across from the post with the positive pack cable. The blue stripe wire is on the - (bottom) across from the post with the B+ cable. This is how Alltrax customer service, suggested installing it. Is that not correct? The diode is facing the positive pack wire (or the +) on the top of the solenoid.

The picture you posted shows the diode in the side of the solenoid but the diode has post connectors. This was installed as per Scottys Bs directions that came with the controller.

FYI, the batt pack is fine. Fully charged, all batteries have the correct voltage and the pack is also correct. Not sure why I am getting the two red flashes from the controller suggesting otherwise.

The small solenoid spade terminals are marked + and - as I explained in the emails the light blue wire is + and the blue with white stripe wire is -. This is shown on the installation diagram on page 18 of the owners/operators manual as well as on my installation sheet which accompanied the controller.
The way it is shown in the picturecreates a dead short whenever the pedal is depressed.
The cart is surfing forward on the pre-charge current only. See attached.

Lol, clearly. My solenoid was hooked up the way that Alltrax customer service told me too. I moved the blue strip wire up next to the light blue wire as Scotty suggested and it seems to work now. Sounds like the solenoid is clicking though.

Honestly, they are really great about getting back to you and helping. Just not 100% sure it's the right kind of help! [emoji23]

Yeah but, what about the solenoid coil

Years ago a guy connect the main + to one side of the MZJ400 solenoid and the main - to the other side. When he stepped on the gas there was an explosion under the seat as the solenoid blew the bridge through the top. The Alltrax was unharmed. More than I can say for his shorts
